Jul 15, 2019  Mac OS has native support for Type 1, TrueType and OpenType fonts. Before installing a font, make sure to close all open applications. Locate the file you want to install. (Common files types for fonts include.TTF and.OTF.) Make sure the font file is unzipped. Click the Creative Cloud desktop icon to launch the app from the taskbar (Windows) or menu bar (macOS). Click the fonts icon in the upper-right corner. Then click Browse Fonts. Install Fonts for All Accounts to Use. If you want fonts to be available to anyone who uses your computer, drag them to the Library/Fonts folder. This Library folder is located on your Mac’s startup drive; simply double-click the startup drive icon on your desktop and you can access the Library folder.

If you launch the Creative Cloud desktop app while offline, fonts won't display in the font lists of your apps. However, if you go offline while the Creative Cloud desktop app is running, any activated fonts will still be listed and available to use.

You can enable or disable the Adobe Fonts service from Creative Cloud desktop app. Disabling Adobe Fonts deactivates any activated fonts and prevents you from activating other fonts from the service.

  2. Click Services on the sidebar. Then disable the Adobe Fonts option.
